- Open-field (Balanced): Nebuchadnezzar II, Ramesses II
The above commanders are suggested as pairing with Zhuge Liang as they provide survivability boosts, which Zhuge Liang is lacking, as his skills are all damage-focused. Nebu‘s second skill provides 30% defense and 15% march speed bonus to archer units, and his fourth skill has a chance to reduce target’s Rage. Ramesses’ third skill reduces skill damage taken by 30% and his fourth skill provides a chance to gain 40% increased defense for 3 second when attacked. Ramesses’ first skill also reduces target’s defense by 25% (30% if Expertised) for 2 seconds, which if Zhuge Liang’s damage skills are activated during this time window, the total damage taken by your targets will be increased.
