ROK Wheel of Fortune – Watch my video guide here:
1. The ROK Wheel of Fortune is an event in Rise of Kingdoms that allows players to obtain Legendary Commander Sculptures through spinning a wheel, with each spin costing gems, the valuable in-game currency;
2. ROK Wheel of Fortune is a three-day event that arrives on the second day of The Mightiest Governor Event (“MGE”). The MGE is a six-day event that starts on a Monday of each fortnight (or every two weeks). In other words, the ROK Wheel of Fortune event comes every two weeks;
3. For three consecutive ROK Wheel of Fortune events, a particular Legendary Commander will be featured on the wheel and made available for acquisition by players. The fourth ROK Wheel of Fortune event will feature Legendary Universal Commander Sculptures. The next three consecutive ROK Wheel of Fortune events will feature another particular Legendary Commander and the cycle repeats. You should target the ROK Wheel of Fortune event that features a commander that you desire, to spend your gems in;

4. Your first spin of the ROK Wheel of Fortune is free. Even if you do not intend to spend gems on the event, you should use your free first spin;
5. After your first free spin, the next spin is discounted at 50% and cost 400 gems. You are entitled to one discounted spin each day of the three-day event. After the discounted spin, should you continue to spin the wheel, you should pick the “SPIN 5 TIMES” option at 3,600 gems (equivalent to 720 gems per spin), instead of “SPIN ONCE” option which costs 800 gems;
6. Apart from the free first spin, and discounted spin, you are allowed to spin the wheel an additional 60 times per day (“Today’s Chances”). You will hence need at least two days to complete 100 spins on the wheel. “Today’s Chances” will be reset daily at 00:00 UTC;
7. Each spin of the wheel gives you a chance to obtain the following rewards below. The reward with the highest value is the “8 x Commander Sculpture”, which has a probability of 2% on each spin;

8. Apart from the reward from each spin, you can obtain “Extra Rewards” for spinning the wheel for a specified number of times. “Extra Rewards” are not reset daily. You will need 70,400 gems to make 100 spins on the Wheel of Fortune in order to obtain all “Extra Rewards”.

Number of spins | Extra rewards |
---|---|
10 | 5 x Commander Sculptures |
25 | 5 x Legendary Commander Universal Sculptures 5 x 500,000 Food 5 x 500,000 Wood 5 x 375,000 Stone 5 x 200,000 Gold |
45 | 10 x Commander Sculptures |
70 | 10 x Legendary Commander Universal Sculptures 1 x 24-hour Universal Speedup 3 x 8-hour Building Speedup 3 x 8-hour Training Speedup 3 x 8-hour Research Speedup |
100 | 15 x Commander Sculptures |
To make 100 spins:
You should use the first free spin and 1 discounted spin for each day of the event for a total of 4 spins. This leaves you with remaining 96 spins to obtain the maximum tier of the “Extra Rewards”. You should choose the “SPIN 5 TIMES” option at 3,600 gems each round for a total of 19 rounds at a total cost of 68,400 gems. Make the last remaining spin using “SPIN ONCE” option at a cost of 800 gems. Your total cost of making 100 spins of the wheel will be 70,400 gems.
Spin number | Type of Spin | Cost to spin in gems | Extra Rewards![]() | Extra Rewards![]() | Total Commander Sculptures |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
1st | Free | Free | |||
2nd | Discounted | 400 | |||
3rd | Discounted | 400 | |||
4th | Discounted | 400 | |||
5th | Spin Once | 800 | |||
6-10th | Spin 5x | 3,600 | 5 | 5 | |
11-25th | Spin 5x | 3,600 x 3 = 10,800 | 5 | 5 | |
26-45th | Spin 5x | 3,600 x 4 = 14,400 | 10 | 10 | |
46-70th | Spin 5x | 3,600 x 5 = 18,000 | 10 | 10 | |
71-100th | Spin 5x | 3,600 x 6 = 21,600 | 15 | 15 | |
Total | 70,400 | 30 | 15 | 45 |
9. The first 10 spins of the wheel is of best value. With the first spin free, subsequent three spins at 50% discount, next 6 spins at a cost of 4,400 gems (3,600 + 800), the total cost to make 10 spins is 5,600 gems. In return, you will obtain, at a minimum, the 5 Commander Sculptures in the first chest of the “Extra Rewards”. The implied cost of acquiring each Legendary Commander Sculpture in the first 10 spins is 1,120 gems. If 5,600 gems is all you have, I suggest you spend it all on the wheel to get that 5 Sculptures.
10. Should you be extremely unlucky and end up not acquiring any Legendary Commander Sculptures from your spins, you will still obtain the 45 Sculptures in the “Extra Rewards” for making 100 spins. That works out to be about 1,564 gems for every Sculpture.
